I am Gerrit Utz Bette. I was born in December 1980 in Haan (Germany) and grew up in Wuppertal. That is the town with the overhead/suspension railway. I studied Technical Informatics: Computer Engineering in Aachen and put my emphasis on compiler development.
Currently I am living in Haarlem and am working as a compiler engineer at ACE in Amsterdam.
In my spare time, I take some pictures with my Nikon D50. However, I am a beginner in the field of photography. So do not expect too much, if you watch my gallery. Other hobbies are cycling (race bike) and indoor climbing.
